The force acting between the two point charge is directly proportional to the product of the two charge and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between the two point charge.

2-system of unit

Limitation of Coulomb's law 

1-it is applicable for a point charge only.

2-it is applicable for a one pair of point charge only.

3-It is applicable for a single medium between two point charge only.
